The iPhone SE, Not the Mini, May Be the Future of Apple's Smaller Phones

The new iPhone SE is still Apple’s cheapest (and smallest) iPhone, despite its higher price of $429 (£419, AU$719).

The new price puts the iPhone SE in line with Apple’s iPhone Mini lineup, which starts at $599 (£579, AU$999) for the iPhone 12 Mini

And goes up to $699 (£679, AU$1,199) for the iPhone 13 Mini.

Apple is bridging the gap between its two smaller iPhones in more ways than just pricing.

The 2022 iPhone SE comes with the same chip that powers the iPhone 13,

as well as 5G support and other improvements

Apple is updating the iPhone SE, and the iPhone Mini's future looks to be uncertain.
